Coach João
Youth wrestling coach and mentor
- 🇧🇷 Brasília, Distrito Federal, Brazil
- Brasília Swimming Club
- 1989 to 2017
- Portuguese
For 28 years I ran the wrestling program at Brasília Swimming Club in Brasília. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
