I coached netball at Bangkok Boxing Gym from 1989 to 2005. Most of my players were between 11 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
