Coach Jin-woo
Cycling coach, Bakersfield Sports Club
- 🇺🇸 Bakersfield, California, United States
- 1992 to 2023
- English, Korean
I coached cycling at Bakersfield Sports Club from 1992 to 2023. Most of my players were between 8 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I played music while people worked.

If you played for me, you probably remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.
What gifts mean to Coach Jin-woo: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
