I've coached badminton at St. Mary's Football Club since 1994. Most of my players were between 12 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I answer every email, even at midnight.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
