Coach Ji-hye
Youth chess coach and mentor
- 🇰🇷 Incheon, Incheon, South Korea
- Incheon Youth Club
- 1998 to 2022
- Korean
I coached chess at Incheon Youth Club from 1998 to 2022. Most of my players were between 12 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Coach Ji-hye: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
