Coach Javier
Tennis coach, San Diego Swimming Club
- 🇺🇸 San Diego, California, United States
- San Diego Swimming Club
- 1983 to 2000
- English, Spanish
For 17 years I ran the tennis program at San Diego Swimming Club in San Diego. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
More about Coach Javier
If you played for me, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
What gifts mean to Coach Javier: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

I still think about the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Durban.
