Coach Janet
Youth hockey coach and mentor
- 🇬🇧 London, England, United Kingdom
- London Eastgate Swimming Club
- Since 2012
- English
I've coached hockey at London Eastgate Swimming Club since 2012. Most of my players were between 8 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I play music while people worked.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Coach Janet
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Janet: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

You coached me in 2013. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Ciudad de México.
