Coach Jan
Coached athletics for 24 years in Haarlem
- 🇳🇱 Haarlem, North Holland, Netherlands
- Haarlem Sports Club
- Since 2002
- English
For 24 years I've run the athletics program at Haarlem Sports Club in Haarlem. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I answer every email, even at midnight.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Coach Jan
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Jan: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
