Coach Jacques
Youth cricket coach and mentor
- 🇿🇦 Sandton, Gauteng, South Africa
- Ashford Swimming Club
- Since 1982
- English, Afrikaans, French
For 44 years I've run the cricket program at Ashford Swimming Club in Sandton. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Coach Jacques
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Jacques: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
