Coach Jack
Youth volleyball coach and mentor
- 🇬🇧 Newcastle upon Tyne, England, United Kingdom
- Newcastle upon Tyne Boxing Gym
- 1998 to 2012
- English
I coached volleyball at Newcastle upon Tyne Boxing Gym from 1998 to 2012. Most of my players were between 12 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Coach Jack
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
