Coach Jack

Youth rowing coach and mentor

  • 🇨🇦 Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada
  • Sydney Unity Sports Club
  • Since 1982
  • English
I've coached rowing at Sydney Unity Sports Club since 1982. Most of my players were between 10 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I garden badly but happily. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

If you played for me, you probably remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.
