Coach Iván
Chess and fitness coach, Rochester
- 🇺🇸 Rochester, New York, United States
- Rochester Eastgate Athletic Club
- Since 2010
- English, Spanish
For 16 years I've run the chess program at Rochester Eastgate Athletic Club in Rochester. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I make terrible puns.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
What gifts mean to Coach Iván: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
