For 21 years I've run the swimming program at Makati Lincoln Boxing Gym in Makati. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I fix old bicycles.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Coach Ismael
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
