Coach Ishrat
Cricket and fitness coach, Dhaka
- 🇧🇩 Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Dhaka Community Club
- 1981 to 1991
- English
I coached cricket at Dhaka Community Club from 1981 to 1991. Most of my players were between 11 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
What gifts mean to Coach Ishrat: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

I still think about the cold winter when we all kept our coats on. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Gothenburg.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
