I coached badminton at Mysuru Valley View Athletic Club from 2001 to 2015. Most of my players were between 9 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
More about Coach Isha
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Isha: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
