I coached martial arts at San Diego Hope Community Club from 1986 to 2005. Most of my players were between 8 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
