Coach Irini
Youth football coach and mentor
- 🇬🇷 Athens, Attica, Greece
- Athens Beacon Swimming Club
- Since 2018
- English, Greek
I've coached football at Athens Beacon Swimming Club since 2018. Most of my players were between 10 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
What gifts mean to Coach Irini: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
