Coach Irfan
Chess and fitness coach, Surabaya
- 🇮🇩 Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia
- Sunrise Sports Club
- 1986 to 2020
- English, Indonesian
For 34 years I ran the chess program at Sunrise Sports Club in Surabaya. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
