Coach Irfan
Coached cycling for 31 years in Jakarta
- 🇮🇩 Jakarta, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
- Jakarta Youth Club
- Since 1995
- English, Indonesian
I've coached cycling at Jakarta Youth Club since 1995. Most of my players were between 12 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Coach Irfan
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Irfan: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
