Coach Irene
Swimming and fitness coach, Thika
- 🇰🇪 Thika, Kiambu, Kenya
- Stonebridge Community Club
- Since 2018
- English, Swahili
I've coached swimming at Stonebridge Community Club since 2018. Most of my players were between 10 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turn anyone away.
Sports or skills coached
What gifts mean to Coach Irene: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

You coached me in 2022. I still hear your voice on the sideline! Greetings from Swansea.
