Coach Ingrid

Youth athletics coach and mentor

  • 🇧🇷 Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil
  • Kingsway Football Club
  • 2002 to 2022
  • Portuguese
For 20 years I ran the athletics program at Kingsway Football Club in Recife. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather. Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I bake for the whole street at New Year. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

What gifts mean to Coach Ingrid: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
