Coach Imani
Youth boxing coach and mentor
- 🇰🇪 Likoni, Mombasa, Kenya
- Likoni Boxing Gym
- Since 1985
- English, Swahili
I've coached boxing at Likoni Boxing Gym since 1985. Most of my players were between 11 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.

What gifts mean to Coach Imani: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
