Coach Ife
Youth cricket coach and mentor
- 🇳🇬 Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria
- Ikeja Sports Club
- 1984 to 2009
- English, Hausa
I coached cricket at Ikeja Sports Club from 1984 to 2009. Most of my players were between 12 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
What gifts mean to Coach Ife: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
