Coach Idowu

Youth cricket coach and mentor

  • 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
  • Lagos Football Club
  • 1999 to 2021
  • English, Spanish
For 22 years I ran the cricket program at Lagos Football Club in Lagos. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather. Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I run most mornings.

More about Coach Idowu

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Idowu: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
