Coach Ibrahim
Youth boxing coach and mentor
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Lagos Trinity Football Club
- Since 1995
- English, Igbo, French
For 31 years I've run the boxing program at Lagos Trinity Football Club in Lagos. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Coach Ibrahim
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Ibrahim: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
