Coach Ian
Baseball and fitness coach, Oakland
- 🇺🇸 Oakland, California, United States
- Oakland Athletic Club
- Since 2016
- English
I've coached baseball at Oakland Athletic Club since 2016. Most of my players were between 11 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Coach Ian
If you played for me, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
What gifts mean to Coach Ian: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
