For ten years I've run the baseball program at Sacramento Maple Ridge Community Club in Sacramento. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I sing in a choir.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Coach Hugo
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Hugo: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
