Coach Hossain
Youth chess coach and mentor
- 🇧🇩 Savar, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Savar Kilimanjaro Youth Club
- Since 1987
- English, Bengali, French
I've coached chess at Savar Kilimanjaro Youth Club since 1987. Most of my players were between 10 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
