Coach Hong
Coached chess for 39 years in Melbourne
- 🇦🇺 Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
- Melbourne Community Club
- Since 1987
- English, Mandarin
For 39 years I've run the chess program at Melbourne Community Club in Melbourne. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Coach Hong
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Hong: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
