Coach Herman
Youth softball coach and mentor
- 🇵🇭 Manila, Metro Manila, Philippines
- Manila Swimming Club
- 2004 to 2013
- English, Filipino
I coached softball at Manila Swimming Club from 2004 to 2013. Most of my players were between 9 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
More about Coach Herman
If you played for me, you probably remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.
What gifts mean to Coach Herman: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
