Coached chess for eight years in Calamba
- 🇵🇭 Calamba, Laguna, Philippines
- Calamba Youth Club
- 2017 to 2025

I coached chess at Calamba Youth Club from 2017 to 2025. Most of my players were between 12 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
What gifts mean to Coach Herman: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
