Coach Henrique
Youth swimming coach and mentor
- 🇧🇷 Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
- Niterói Sports Club
- 1990 to 2024
- Portuguese, English
For 34 years I ran the swimming program at Niterói Sports Club in Niterói. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I answered every email, even at midnight.
More about Coach Henrique
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Henrique: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
