Coach Héctor
Youth tennis coach and mentor
- 🇨🇴 Palmira, Valle del Cauca, Colombia
- Palmira Sports Club
- Since 1984
- Spanish
For 42 years I've run the tennis program at Palmira Sports Club in Palmira. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
What gifts mean to Coach Héctor: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
