Coach Heather
Softball coach, Toronto Ashford Boxing Gym
- 🇨🇦 Toronto, Ontario, Canada
- Toronto Ashford Boxing Gym

- English
I've coached softball at Toronto Ashford Boxing Gym since 1982. Most of my players were between 12 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Coach Heather
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Heather: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
