Coach Heather
Baseball and fitness coach, Chicago
- 🇺🇸 Chicago, Illinois, United States
- Since 1990
- English, French
I've coached baseball at Chicago Youth Club since 1990. Most of my players were between 8 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I fix old bicycles.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Coach Heather
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Heather: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
