Coach Haruto
Hockey and fitness coach, Osaka
- 🇯🇵 Osaka, Osaka, Japan
- Osaka Football Club
- 1985 to 1994
- Japanese, English
I coached hockey at Osaka Football Club from 1985 to 1994. Most of my players were between 11 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turned anyone away.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Coach Haruto
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Haruto: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
