I've coached rowing at Jaipur Maple Ridge Youth Club since 1994. Most of my players were between 10 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learn every name in the first week.
I'm still learning every day.
