I coached rowing at Heritage Community Club from 2001 to 2019. Most of my players were between 12 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
What gifts mean to Coach Hanna: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
