Coach Hamza
Youth cricket coach and mentor
- 🇵🇰 Gujranwala, Punjab, Pakistan
- Gujranwala Athletic Club
- Since 1992
- English, Punjabi
For 34 years I've run the cricket program at Gujranwala Athletic Club in Gujranwala. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Coach Hamza
If you played for me, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.

What gifts mean to Coach Hamza: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

I still think about the day we all got the giggles in assembly. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Kampala.
