Coach Hamisi

Youth boxing coach and mentor

  • 🇹🇿 Zanzibar City, Zanzibar Urban/West, Tanzania
  • Oakwood Community Club
  • Since 2015
  • English, Swahili, French
I've coached boxing at Oakwood Community Club since 2015. Most of my players were between 8 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turn anyone away.

More about Coach Hamisi

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
