I've coached hockey at Heritage Community Club since 2013. Most of my players were between 10 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
More about Coach Hamisi
If you played for me, you probably remember the quiz night we nearly won.
What gifts mean to Coach Hamisi: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
