Coach Gustav
Chess and fitness coach, Stockholm
- 🇸🇪 Stockholm, Stockholm, Sweden
- Stockholm Boxing Gym
- 2012 to 2024
- English
For twelve years I ran the chess program at Stockholm Boxing Gym in Stockholm. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Coach Gustav
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
