Coach Guillaume
Rowing and fitness coach, Lille
- 🇫🇷 Lille, Hauts-de-France, France
- Lille Swimming Club
- 2001 to 2019
- French
I coached rowing at Lille Swimming Club from 2001 to 2019. Most of my players were between 8 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
