I've coached swimming at Pietermaritzburg Athletic Club since 1994. Most of my players were between 10 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
More about Coach Gugu
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Gugu: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

you coached me in 1994. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Thank you again.
