I coached rowing at Northside Boxing Gym from 2000 to 2025. Most of my players were between 10 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Coach Graciela
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
