Coach Grace
Youth rugby coach and mentor
- 🇺🇸 Flint, Michigan, United States
- Phoenix Swimming Club
- 2004 to 2015
- English
For eleven years I ran the rugby program at Phoenix Swimming Club in Flint. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learned every name in the first week.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Coach Grace
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
