Coach Goro
Youth cycling coach and mentor
- 🇯🇵 Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan
- Unity Swimming Club
- Since 1980
- English
I've coached cycling at Unity Swimming Club since 1980. Most of my players were between 8 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Coach Goro
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
