Coach Gopal
Coached hockey for eight years in Salem
- 🇮🇳 Salem, Tamil Nadu, India
- Salem Sports Club
- 1980 to 1988
- English, Tamil
I coached hockey at Salem Sports Club from 1980 to 1988. Most of my players were between 10 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Coach Gopal
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
