Coach Godwin
Youth cricket coach and mentor
- 🇳🇬 Port Harcourt, Rivers, Nigeria
- Port Harcourt Boxing Gym
- 2002 to 2014
- English, Yoruba
I coached cricket at Port Harcourt Boxing Gym from 2002 to 2014. Most of my players were between 11 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Coach Godwin
If you played for me, you probably remember the surprise birthday cake.
What gifts mean to Coach Godwin: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

You coached me in 2007. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Üsküdar.
