- İzmir Swimming Club
- 1994 to 2013

I coached tennis at İzmir Swimming Club from 1994 to 2013. Most of my players were between 8 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I walk the dog by the river.
More about Coach Gizem
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Gizem: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

I still think about the cold winter when we all kept our coats on. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Bangkok.
